The OJR Education Foundation is proud to be one of over 50 nonprofits invited to participate in the AMAZING RAISE which runs from October 1 to 31. 100% of dollars donated to the OJR Education Foundation through the Amazing Raise online campaign is tax deductible and given directly to us. The Amazing Raise, sponsored by the TriCounty Community Network, provides us with a vehicle to raise money and receive TCN BONUS FUNDS. Your gift makes a difference in the lives of the OJR teachers and students because your donations provide teacher grants for innovative programs and projects that go beyond the scope of the district budget. Last year, OJREF teacher grants provided classrooms with flexible seating, SEL read aloud books, Peace Place Kits, Breakout Escape Room Kits; equipment for the Animal Studies class; Soundtrap Digital Audio Workstations for MS music classes; STEM kits, makerspaces and Story Paths for the libraries. One of our largest grants was awarded to the new elementary STEAM teachers who were able to purchase hands-on materials to supplement district-purchased supplies. Students are loving these new additions to their classrooms that would not be there without your support!
